The personalized card holder, designed for carrying bank cards, business cards, or transport cards, is a rigid or flexible accessory whose surface must allow a clear, resistant, well-centered marking on a flat area exposed to frequent use. Standard formats accommodate CR80 type cards (85.6 × 54 mm), with a structure designed for one to four cards depending on the thickness, the holding system, and the type of opening. Rigid models are generally molded in polypropylene (PP), ABS, or crystal PVC, with a full or transparent face, and an opening by lateral sliding, pressure, or sliding button. The marking is done on the full face by tampography, UV printing, or laser engraving (on metal or anodized aluminum versions), with an exploitable surface of about 50 × 30 mm, without overflowing onto the rounded edges. Flexible models, on the other hand, are made of welded PVC, grained PU, recycled leather, or silicone, sometimes with a rigid insert inside to maintain the shape. The main compartment is heat-sealed or sewn, with one or two openings, often in a half-moon shape for better card grip. Marking on flexible versions is done by transfer, screen printing, or hot stamping, depending on the material and desired finish. Some models have a transparent window with an antistatic film for visible cards, a flap with a snap button, or a zip closure for wallet versions. The average weight of an empty card holder is between 8 and 60 grams depending on the material and the number of compartments. High-end versions are equipped with RFID shielding in aluminum or copper, integrated into the shell or under the inner lining, to block NFC waves and prevent contactless payments or readings. These versions often feature a sliding button or internal spring that ejects the cards in a staggered manner while holding them firmly. The promotional card holder must retain a clear visual despite friction, repeated handling, and exposure to heat (pockets, cars, bags). The quality test includes card insertion/removal over 500 cycles, marking resistance to wet cleaning, and resistance to manual twisting. Packaging is done in an individual bag, sometimes with a cardboard box for premium models. A poor product is identified by a loose seam, a card that slips, or a marking that disintegrates from the first uses. A good card holder remains rigid or stable when empty, holds the cards without blocking them, retains its shape and readability, while featuring a cleanly centered, durable personalization, without smudging or misalignment.
