The customized rigid cooler is a molded rigid-wall insulated container designed to maintain the temperature of food or beverages for an extended period without electrical power. It is made from injected polypropylene (PP) or high-strength ABS plastic, with a double wall filled with polyurethane (PU) foam or expanded polystyrene (EPS), ensuring effective thermal insulation for 6 to 12 hours depending on the model, the filling rate, and the use of ice packs. The usable volume ranges from 6 to 50 liters, with common sizes around 24 × 35 × 40 cm for 20 L models, up to 55 × 38 × 42 cm for large formats. The lid is clipped or hinge-mounted, sometimes removable, with or without a foam seal, and can serve as a support for advertising marking, as can the side faces. The marking is done by screen printing, pad printing, or direct UV printing, on a flat surface from 100 × 80 mm to 200 × 150 mm depending on the chosen area, excluding handles, rounded corners, or closure areas. The interior is molded in smooth food-grade HDPE, without textile joint, easy to clean with clear water, sometimes with a drainage gutter or a plug. The side handles are integrated into the structure or mounted on pivoting axes, tested for a traction of at least 20 kg in lateral carrying. Some models include a lid with locking clips, slides for internal compartments, or a location for ice packs. The empty weight varies from 1.5 kg for small volumes to more than 5 kg for large models with reinforcements. Passive insulation allows maintenance at a temperature of 0 to 6 °C for up to 12 hours with preconditioned ice packs, and a stable internal temperature without external condensation. Packaging is done individually, assembled or semi-assembled, under reinforced cardboard with side wedges. The marking must withstand UV rays, repeated friction, humidity, and frequent cleaning. A poor product is indicated by a poorly closing lid, a wall that warps under heat, insulating foam that compresses, or a logo that quickly fades. A good rigid cooler retains its shape, remains stable once filled, ensures constant thermal preservation, and features well-centered, sharp, durable marking, perfectly suited to the geometry of the support.
