Made from stainless steel (304 or 201 stainless steel depending on the range), ABS plastic, bamboo with a stainless steel insert, or transparent double-walled Tritan, it incorporates an insulating structure via vacuum or injected foam, capable of keeping liquids hot for 3 to 6 hours, and cold for up to 12 hours for the most efficient versions. The lid, either screwed or clipped, is equipped with a splash-proof system or a sliding opening, sometimes with a spout or a waterproof silicone seal, allowing secure use on the go. The format generally varies from 280 to 450 ml, in a cylindrical or slightly tapered shape to fit car cup holders or desktop stands. The branding, central to the product's advertising function, can be done via laser engraving (discreet, durable, indelible, often on stainless steel or bamboo), pad printing (for complex areas), circular screen printing (printing around the entire mug), or four-color sublimation (especially on versions with white surfaces or treated aluminum).
