The custom wireless induction charger is a flat, circular or rectangular device designed to transmit energy to a compatible device (smartphone, earbuds, smartwatch) via electromagnetic field, according to the Qi standard protocol (version 1.1 to 1.3), with a top surface dedicated to marking, used for the application of a logo visible from the first contact. It consists of an external casing — in ABS, anodized aluminum, bamboo, silicone, or recycled plastic —, a printed circuit with an enameled copper transmission coil, an integrated regulation module, and an indicative LED lighting system. The diameter or width is generally between 85 and 105 mm, the thickness between 5 and 12 mm, for a weight ranging from 40 to 100 g depending on the material. The electrical input is via a USB-C port (in 90% of recent models), with a standard 1-meter cable provided, and a power output ranging from 5 W to 15 W.
Customization is applied on the top surface, in pad printing (1 to 4 colors), UV four-color printing (on white or light surface), laser engraving (on metal or bamboo) or doming (domed resin for 3D effect), on a central circle of 50 to 70 mm in diameter. The marking area must imperatively avoid the direct contact zone with the coil, to not disrupt the inductive charging. The chargers are equipped with a non-slip pad (silicone ring, PU cushion, or micro-textured surface), ensuring the stability of the placed device. Some models have an integrated LED indicator (red for standby, blue for active charging, green for end of charge) and smart functions such as foreign object detection (FOD), overheating protection, or automatic cut-off in case of unstable voltage.
Quality tests include: energy efficiency (above 70%), thermal stability (no overheating beyond 40°C on the surface after 60 minutes), compatibility with major Qi smartphone models (Samsung, Apple, Huawei), detection sensitivity (effective charging with a case up to 3 mm), and mechanical resistance to cable twisting. Packaging is done in a white or custom cardboard box, with thermoformed cushioning, multilingual manual, and included cable. High-end versions may incorporate a soft-touch finish, fabric covering, RGB light ring, or a touch surface allowing manual shutdown.
A poorly designed wireless induction charger shows clear symptoms: LED blinking continuously, interrupted charging after a few minutes, parasitic noise during transmission, or logo quickly fading upon contact. A good charger, on the contrary, is silent, stable, responsive, with a clear, centered marking, durable even under repeated friction, and immediate compatibility with placed devices, without repositioning or energy loss, making the applied logo a reliable visual reference, technical, and discreetly present in the digital daily life.
