Its very low unit cost, lightness, and lack of logistical fragility make it an easy item to produce and distribute, even in large quantities. It is kept — sometimes for a long time — in a drawer, a bag, or a memory box, and becomes a micro-totem, a tangible fragment of an atmosphere or place.
