The base, integrated or added, is made of glass or metal, sometimes lacquered wood for ceremonial ranges. Assembly is done by transparent UV bonding, invisible to the naked eye, which tolerates no dust or microbubbles. The weight of a standard trophy varies from 700 g to 3 kg depending on the glass volume, which requires appropriate packaging: pre-cut foam or rigid cushioning in an individual box, often in black laminated rigid cardboard, sometimes in lacquered wooden box for special editions. The surface must be cleaned with an antistatic cloth before delivery, without fingerprints or glue residue. A good trophy should not have scratches, broken angles, or visible tension lines on the back. The squaring of the base and the verticality of the faces must be checked with a ruler: even slight misalignment distorts the reading of the marking. The text must be proportional to the shape: no overload, no too fine detail on sandblasted engravings. The final rendering is evaluated in direct light: any cloudy area, stray reflection, or asymmetric engraving is considered a defect.
