The customized touch stylus is an input device designed to interact with capacitive screens of tablets, smartphones, or touch terminals, offering a precise and hygienic alternative to the bare finger, with a marking area located on the cylindrical body, usually between the clip and the tip. It consists of a lightweight barrel made of anodized aluminum, ABS, brass, or injected plastic, a soft conductive rubber tip (usually TPR or silicone), and sometimes a metal clip or an opposite tip allowing for a dual function (ballpoint pen/stylus, laser/stylus, or stand/stylus). The barrel diameter varies between 7 and 11 mm, for a length of 10 to 14 cm, a weight between 10 and 25 g, and a marking area of 40 × 6 mm to 60 × 8 mm depending on the model.

The touch tip is rounded, soft, slightly cushioned, with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, designed to ensure good responsiveness in contact with capacitive screens, without requiring excessive pressure. It is sometimes screwed to be replaceable, but most often hot-glued. The custom marking is applied to the body, using pad printing, laser engraving (metal models), or UV printing (plastic models), in monochrome or four-color, never covering the grip areas or decorative rings. On pen/stylus combined models, the ballpoint ink is black or blue, with a mini D1 refill (replaceable), and the writing mechanism can be click, twist, or cap.

Some models feature a fine tip (with a transparent disc or active micro-tip) for graphic tablets or precise signatures, but the vast majority of customized touch styluses use a standard round tip, more universal. Active versions (with power and Bluetooth) are generally not customizable at controlled costs, except for very large quantities. Quality tests include input precision (no skipping or latency), tip retention after 1,000 presses, marking stability after dry rubbing, clip resistance in use, and compatibility with most screens (iOS, Android, Windows).

The packaging is individual (plastic bag, cardboard case, or box with padding), with or without instructions. Some models come with a carrying cord, a jack plug attachment (now rare), or even a spare tip. A poor stylus shows a tip that is too hard or sticky, a marking that fades after a few days, low responsiveness, or limited compatibility. In contrast, a good customized touch stylus glides naturally on the screen, offers smooth input, does not scratch surfaces, presents a clear, resistant, well-centered marking, and integrates perfectly with the user's hand as well as the nature of the interface with which it interacts.
