The personalized recycled bath or hand towel is a medium that is simultaneously textile, tactile, and visual, designed to fit into daily routines with a strong yet non-intrusive presence. Made from recycled fibers — revalued cotton, post-consumer polyester, or a certified blend according to GRS (Global Recycled Standard) norms —, it retains the expected absorption and softness properties of bath linen while reducing its environmental footprint. Its weight, often between 350 and 500 g/m², ensures it has enough substance to wrap around the body, dry effectively without excessive rubbing, and withstand repeated washing. It can be offered in several formats: the standard hand towel (about 50 × 100 cm), ideal for hands or face; and the bath towel (70 × 140 cm or more), suitable for full use after a shower, at the pool, or on vacation. The weaving, whether looped or velvet depending on the reference, offers a perfect surface for marking, done in tone-on-tone or contrasting embroidery, sometimes in heat-transferred screen print on a smooth band.

Personalization is often discreet yet elegant, placed in a corner or at the center of a decorative band woven into the fabric. On recycled models, the tone is often slightly mottled, giving the visual a more natural appearance, less uniform than on virgin cotton towels. This imperfect textile character adds authenticity to the item: it already tells a story, even before bearing a logo. In use, a good recycled towel does not shed, retains its color even after ten washes, maintains a pleasant fiber softness, and does not deform at the seams. The edging is reinforced, corners often rounded, and seams made with recycled thread as well. The composition label, mandatory, specifies the percentage of recycled fibers and the weaving method. Packaging is done flat or rolled, sometimes tied with a paper ribbon or raw cotton strap, giving a natural and understated look to the presentation. When folded in a locker room, laid out on a sunbed, or hung in a bathroom, the personalized towel displays the name it bears without showmanship: it asserts itself calmly, simply because the object is useful, beautiful, well-designed, and worthy of being reused.
