The personalized phone card holder is a compact accessory designed to be attached to the back of a smartphone or its case, intended to hold one to three bank-sized cards (85.6 × 54 mm), while supporting the constraints of friction, bending, and long-term retention. Marking is generally done via pad printing, UV printing, or screen transfer on the visible side of the holder, with a usable surface of 45 × 55 mm for standard models. The body of the product is made from injected silicone, heat-bonded PU, synthetic leather, or elastic fabric sewn onto a rigid base, each having its specificities in terms of marking retention and flexibility. Silicone models offer better adhesion to the phone, while PU ones provide a more premium leather-like or textured finish. The adhesive used is a repositionable 3M double-sided tape or a high-resistance adhesive foam, removable without leaving residue on smooth surfaces such as plastic, metal, or glass cases. The bonding area, centered, measures approximately 60 × 90 mm, with an empty thickness of 2 to 4 mm, reaching 6 to 8 mm once filled. The main compartment is molded or sewn under tension to securely hold the cards, without them slipping even after repeated use. Some models integrate a pull tab or an inclined front slot for easier access to the first card. Double compartment versions offer an additional pocket at the back or an expanded gusset. Models with kickstand or ring holder functions are also available, though they reduce the usable marking surface. Quality testing focuses on adhesive retention (over 500 attachment/detachment cycles on clean surfaces), pocket elasticity (dry stretch resistance), and peel resistance (minimum 1.2 kg/cm² for standard 3M adhesives). Compatibility with rough, textured, or silicone cases is limited: it is recommended to attach the card holder only to flat, dry, and non-porous surfaces. Advertising marking should remain legible despite pocket or bag friction: partial lamination or a protective varnish is recommended for UV prints. Individual packaging is done in plastic bags or personalized cardboard sleeves, with application instructions and surface cleaning recommendations before attachment. A poor product is quickly identified by a too-loose pocket, adhesive that detaches on the first day, poorly centered marking, or one that fades on contact with fingers. A good card holder remains well attached, retains its shape even at full capacity, holds cards without damaging them, and features a clear, stable visual, precisely positioned.
