The customized jacket is a structuring textile medium, designed to last, protect, and make a visual identity visible in a mobile context, often professional or event-related. Made of polyester, softshell, thick cotton, or technical waterproof fabric depending on the use, it must combine ergonomic cut, mechanical resistance, and stable marking surface. The weight is generally high (250 to 350 g/m²), ensuring good garment durability, with or without lining depending on seasonality. The cut can be straight, fitted, or technical, with raglan sleeves, gussets, a retractable hood, or adjustable cuffs, which directly influences the markable areas. The logo is usually placed on the left chest or back, sometimes on the sleeve or collar, with a compact and contrasting visual. Embroidery is the preferred technique for its durability on thick textiles, but screen-printed transfers or heat-sealed patches are also used for multicolored visuals or softshells. Seams, zippers, and pockets require careful consideration for positioning: a logo too close to a seam deforms, a visual too large stiffens the surface. The advertising jacket can include functional elements — reflective strips, interior pockets, reverse zipper, chin guard — that add value to the item beyond the marking. Some models are water-repellent, windproof, or breathable (3-layer membrane), which requires controlled application temperatures for transfers. The label can be woven or printed, sometimes customized, and the jacket delivered in a cover or folded depending on the final use. Well-designed, the customized jacket is not just a promotional textile: it is an image garment, structuring the silhouette and the brand in an active, visible, professional context — a mobile, durable support carrying a logo that is as much displayed as it is embodied.
