K-loop shopping bag

Recycled cotton / recycled polyester. Flat shopping bag with handles in the same fabric as the bag, 70 cm. This bag is part of the K-loop project. With this project, Kimood closes the loop of the circular economy in the strict sense. The cotton used comes from the manufacturing waste of Kariban brand cotton products and the KARIBAN BRANDS range. The added polyester comes from the recycling of PET plastic bottles. During the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, namely viscose and ceramic filaments that act as a unique fingerprint. The tracers reflect light in a unique way, and therefore carry a unique, tamper-proof code. Thanks to this, we can store all the information about the processes to which the thread has been uniquely subjected in a blockchain. Thanks to Aware tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood enables the end consumer to track the entire production process. This guarantees that the product has been recycled using its own waste, with no possible alterations to the process. A special label with a QR code enables access to the Aware platform and direct authentication of certifications via a simple smartphone.
