The custom plastic glass is designed to combine lightness, durability, and visibility, while adhering to strict technical constraints related to repeated or intensive use. Unlike single-use flexible cups, this is a rigid container, injection-molded from materials like polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), Tritan, or SAN, each offering a specific balance between transparency, thermal resistance, and mechanical strength. The format is calibrated: 12 cl for tastings, 25 cl or 33 cl for common beverages, 50 cl for beers or soft drinks served outdoors. Its thickness must be sufficient to withstand a firm grip, a moderate fall, and dishwasher washing if reusable. Transparency or frosted effect plays an aesthetic as well as practical role, notably for assessing the content at a glance. Marking can be done by direct screen printing, digital four-color process, or pad printing, with inks resistant to washing and rubbing. The printing, centered or panoramic, must remain clear despite curvature and potential deformations. One can also choose a tinted glass in the mass, where the visual is more discreet, or conversely a fluorescent or pearlescent effect to catch the eye in a festive context. The promotional plastic glass is often used outdoors: festivals, sporting events, weddings, promotional operations, where it advantageously replaces the too fragile classic glass. It may include a fill gauge engraved, a batch number, or CE marking according to legal requirements. Some models are stackable without sticking, with an internal notch or discreet relief allowing storage without time loss. Others come with a lid or flat cover, sometimes pierced for a straw, in the case of to-go versions. One can also opt for a bio-sourced or recyclable material, especially with the new generations of rigid BPA-free plastics. The touch, edge rigidity, base stability, and sound restitution upon impact (more or less dull or crystalline) are perceptible elements in use, and strongly influence the perception of the product. Unlike flexible cups, the plastic glass is identified as an object for prolonged use: it lends itself to deposit, washes, stores, reuses, even collects. It becomes, by its apparent banality, a long-lasting advertising medium, visible at the precise moment when the user relaxes, toasts, shares. The marking thus anchors in a positive, emotional, often festive context, and its success relies as much on graphic quality as on the relevance of the chosen medium. Nothing should hinder the gesture: drink easily, hold firmly, visually recognize the served drink. The glass is there, present in the hand, and it is in this direct, prolonged contact that all the effectiveness of its customization is played out.
