The personalized bread bag stands out with its elongated shape, designed exclusively to hold a baguette, a country loaf, or sliced bread without damaging them. It is a textile item with carefully defined proportions, often between 65 and 80 cm long and 12 to 18 cm wide, capable of protecting the bread while keeping its crust intact. Both flexible and durable, it comes in natural cotton, washed linen, or recycled canvas, sometimes with an inner lining that isolates the bread from moisture or dust. It is neither a shopping bag nor a multi-purpose packaging: its sole purpose is to carry bread, under conditions most suited to preserving the product. The choice of fabric, its thickness, the type of weave, the presence or absence of a gusset, the detail of the closure – snap button, cotton lace, invisible Velcro – all are decided based on the type of bread targeted and the image the brand wishes to convey. The logo printing, discreet or clearly visible, in one color or in four-color process, by screen printing, transfer, or pad printing, must withstand repeated washings without fading. It can be centered, placed vertically on the side, or sewn onto a textile label. In some cases, an embossed marking or weaving the name directly into the fabric is chosen for an even more integrated look. The promotional bread bag does not tolerate compromises: its vertical hold is essential to avoid crushing the product, and its seams must withstand repeated, sometimes daily use. The most durable models are reinforced at the base, sometimes featuring French seams or doubled on the sides, to leave no weak points. Some manufacturers also offer a version with a small interior pocket intended to slip in a welcome message, a flyer, or a loyalty card. For bakeries concerned about their image, the color of the fabric, the quality of the cord, the finish of the edges are elements that must reflect the brand's positioning. Unlike other textile formats, this one does not lend itself to fancy designs: its line must be pure, its aesthetic sober, to remain in harmony with the simple and noble nature of the product it accompanies. Foldable versions are also available, with a sewn-in elastic or a closure button, so the bag can be easily stored in a pocket or drawer after use. It thus becomes an extension of the daily gesture: taking the bread, slipping it into a dedicated holder, bringing it back without crushing it, protecting it until reaching home. Every detail, from the choice of textile to the method of manufacture, serves this unique function. The bread bag is not a derivative of another product: it is designed for bread, and for bread alone. More than an accessory, it becomes a support for identity, a discreet sign of loyalty to a business or a manufacturing method, a direct link between the artisan baker and their customer.
