Kids' T-shirt with Customization
The personalized children's t-shirt requires a specific approach, as it combines safety imperatives, morphological adaptability, and readability of markings on small surfaces. Usually made from combed cotton (sometimes organic) or polyester jersey for technical uses, it should offer a soft touch, good shape retention, and perfect skin tolerance. The weight generally ranges between 140 and 165 g/m² to ensure lightness, comfort, and resistance to repeated washes at 40°C. The cuts vary according to age: from 2 to 6 years, the collar is often widened with snaps on the shoulder or an elastic band to facilitate dressing; beyond that, there are models closer to adults, with set-in sleeves, ribbed round neckline, and straight cut. As for the marking, it must adapt to a reduced surface and a more mobile fabric: a visual that is too large or too complex deforms the textile and becomes unreadable once worn. Screen printing remains the most reliable method for bright and durable colors; transfer is used for multicolored designs or individual customizations. Embroidery is rarely recommended for children: too rigid, it hinders wear and sometimes irritates the skin. The visual is typically placed in the center of the chest or in a small format on the left chest. It must remain readable, fun, or identifiable, while respecting the proportions of the garment. Some models incorporate anti-pilling treatment or enzymatic washing to improve longevity. The children's promotional t-shirt can also feature a printed label in the collar, avoiding any discomfort; the seams must be reinforced and flexible. Sizes, which vary greatly (from 2 to 14 years), require rigorous resizing of visuals to avoid visual discrepancies between series. Finally, packaging, often in bulk or folded in a bag, can be refined with a cardboard tag or fabric ribbon, depending on the target audience. A personalized children's t-shirt tolerates neither approximation in the cut nor excess in the visual: it is a living textile support, which must accompany movement, appeal without overloading, and withstand intensive use without losing its shape or message.
