The customized tank top is a specific textile medium, both minimalist in surface and demanding in its construction, as the absence of sleeves, the proximity of the collar, and the wide armholes require very precise management of the visual and a perfectly adjusted cut. Made of 100% cotton jersey or a polyester blend for technical models, it features a moderate weight, often between 140 and 180 g/m², to ensure lightness, breathability, and shape retention, even after multiple washes. The cut can be straight, fitted, or athletic (racerback), depending on whether it is intended for an urban, sporty, or professional audience. The customized tank top requires great precision in the placement of the marking: the available surface is limited, especially on the chest, so the logo or visual must be compact, centered to the millimeter, and well-proportioned to not disappear visually or hinder the wearer. Screen printing is ideal for clear solid colors, while transfer can be used on synthetic textiles or multicolored markings. Embroidery is rarely suitable: it stiffens the marking area on a light textile, which affects comfort, especially in motion. Some models include contrasting finishes at the armholes and neckline, an interior cleanliness strip, or a printed label in the collar for added comfort. The promotional tank top can also be used as sportswear, beachwear, or summer promotional wear, which requires a visual that is visible from a distance, easily readable despite the natural folds of the fabric. Durability in 40°C washes, resistance of the marking to perspiration, and stability of the side seams are essential for prolonged use. Light, close-fitting, highly visually exposed, the customized tank top forgives no flaws: it must be designed as a silhouette textile, mobile, structured, and expressive, where the material and the marking work together in an economy of surface, but not of impact.
